WISE meaning wiggly, integrative, and somatic exercise! As a physical therapist, Karah can bring a deeper knowledge to the movement she teaches and these values naturally become a part of her classes. In an effort to try to move towards more therapeutic, safe, and functional movement, Karah has also developed her own movement series- WISE movement! Each series will focus on one major joint system in the body and dive into detailed sequences to both lengthen and strengthen that system for optimal movement patterns- while also getting wiggly with it!

Karah is a 200 hour RYT and is trained in the styles of Ashtanga and Vinyasa. Karah aims to bring the focus on alignment from Ashtanga together with the freedom of flow in Vinyasa for functional and fun yoga classes. Karah also teaches gentle and restorative flows to release the tension of the body through long hold fascial releases and to release tension of the mind with meditative practices.

Foundational Flow focuses on fundamental movements in yogic practice and moves at a slower pace in order to focus on alignment and deepen the somatic experience. Do not be fooled by the pace- this is still a challenging class!

Advanced Vinyasa Flow moves at a faster pace with more challenging postures. Arm balances and binds will be explored in this class in a playful way and modifications are always provided.

Karah is a certified mat and reformer Pilates instructor, trained both in classical and contemporary styles. Karah aims to bring her knowledge as a pelvic floor physical therapist to her Pilates classes in order to deepen the understanding of how to both relax and strengthening the pelvic floor muscles.
